Join us on this amazing exploration of the Central North Island. Starting in Auckland, we will explore the jetties and waterfalls of Rotorua for two nights. From there we will head on to the volcanoes and deserts of Tongariro National Park. Spend a night in a ski field hut on Mount Ruapehu with amazing views right on the doorstep. If the weather does not play along for this part of the trip, we will explore the caves at Waitomo instead.
The next leg of our trip takes us to the ragged coastline of New Plymouth. For two nights we will chase west coast sunsets, lighthouses and Mount Taranaki.
Our trip will take us past a variety of beautiful shooting locations that we will capture in the mornings and evenings. The brighter daytime hours are spent travelling to new destinations, sharing meals, reviewing images together and hanging out with like-minded people.
Hero Tours are tailored for experienced photographers who want to explore new locations. Simply jump aboard the Hero Van and discover amazing new landscapes with us every day.
While a Hero Tour does not offer structured lessons like our workshops, Rob and Dennis will still be around to share their vast knowledge, provide suggestions and help with your personal development as a photographer.
